We've been together almost a year, now! I can't believe how far we've come. It's been an incredible journey. We've spent so much time together, become so close, that I know what I'm about to say is going to hurt you. And I'm sorry.
I cheated on you last night. I couldn't help it. There was this other story from years back, an old flame, and it was gnawing at my mind. I was on my way to a date with you, creating words that will further your epic, and somehow, I took a turn. A wrong turn? Time will tell.
Don't blame yourself, please, for I take full responsibility. I just...lost interest with you. I didn't know what to say. All the passion was gone, at least for a moment. There was nothing to talk about. No spark of what we had.
I haven't abandoned you, if you'll still have me. I've made a commitment, and I'm going to stick it out. Never fear - I'll come back. I just thought I should write you and apologize. See you tomorrow?
