I don't think I can offer any help but I can tell you, I'm right there with you. I feel your pain.
Chin up, hands on the keyboard, persevere. It's all we CAN do.
And don't worry. It will only get better.
I've got no advice except to say that critique partners can help a lot. Sometimes you get so close to your own work that you can't see the words for the pages for the chapters.
Also, I hope I've said this before, but if not: any house full of Star Wars and Tolkien is a castle as far as I'm concerned.
