Revisions continue.

After my lovely plot breakthrough last week, I realized I'd just committed to re-writing about half the book.

I've since narrowed it down to about a quarter to a third of the book. I'm excited about the ideas I have. I'm also trying not to freak out about how they'll be implemented. Writing them is one thing, but going through and making sure everything matches up, that it's the best that it can be--basically, this is the whole writing process all over again--intimidates me.

I keep trekking on. Making progress, wishing it was more, glad it's not less. However, I get to be interrupted by lovely announcements like this:

I am so with you. I got into one of the very first books I ever wrote last year and realized I had to rewrite the whole thing. But not.

I've been changing it from omniscient to 3rd POV for two characters and man is it hard. I can only work on like 10 pages at a time before I drive myself completely nuts.

Just keep plugging away. You sound like you're really happy where you are going with it now.
