The End of June

• The end of June can not come slowly enough. If the end of June didn't come for another two months, that would be perfect. So if anybody is in touch with June, please pass along the message.
• I watched That Darn Cat yesterday, yeah the old one. The one with Hayley Mills. I'm still in awe of how they trained/convinced that cat to act that part. I'm pretty sure PETA wasn't around then. However, it's a rather brilliant script.
• Also watched the first episode of White Collar, Season 3 last night. {And I wonder why I'm getting nothing done. Ha.} Definitely shaping up to be a different season than the first two.
• I AM going to the Dark Knight marathon. That is to say, I'm going to see Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises...all in one night. {TDKR will be the midnight showing. My first midnight showing ever, as a matter of fact.}
• I got stabbed by a {prickly pear} cactus yesterday. Pulled the thorn out, no big deal. But today the area is red and tender--a puncture wound. It's right on one of the joints of my foot, so every time I walk, it hurts. Thus, I limp.
• In less than a week, I'll be at New Student Orientation at college. I'm spending the night. In a dorm--a DORM! It will be my first dorm experience {I'm not going to be in a dorm come fall, thank goodness}, and I'm glad it will be my last. :)
